Pakistani Peshawari karahi
Ingredients: Peshawari karahi
Recipe
  • 1/2 kilo of beef
  • 3 medium size Tomatoes
  • 3-4 Whole Green Chillies
  • 2 tsp. of Ginger Paste
  • 2 tsp. of Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 tsp. of Red Chilli Powder
    Salt (to taste)
  • 1 tsp. of Black Pepper (freshly crushed)
  • 2 tbsp. of Oil
Method:
  1. Put the meat in a pot or karahi (preferrably a karahi.)
  2. Add the Garlic and Ginger paste. And fry on medium heat until any water dries up.
  3. Then add 3 glasses of water to meat.
  4. Mix and cover and let cook on medium heat. Until meat is tenderized.
  5. Once the meat is tender and looks cooked, add the following ingredients:
  6. Oil, Salt, Black Peppers, and Red Chilli Powder.
  7. If there is still some water remaining in the pot, increase stove heat and constantly stir and let the water dry.
  8. Then add green chillies & tomato.
  9. Lower heat and cover pot and let cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes.
  10. Once tomatoes are softened, Keep stirring until water dries up.
Peshawari chicken karahi
Ingredients:
  • 1 kg Chiken
  • 2 tbsp roughly crushed ginger garlic paste
  • 4 large red tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1 inch ginger stick(for garnish)
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  1. heat the oil in a large karahi and add the chicken cook till golden brown (fry at a high flame).
  2. remove the chicken and reduce the oil to about 2 tablespoon.
  3. Now add roughly crushed ginger garlic paste and cook for 1 minute and
  4. add chopped tomatoes and salt cook for about 8 minutes or until tender.
  5. add fried chicken and and black pepper cook for 2 more minutes.
  6. garnsih with ginger and serve hot.
Chicken Karhi
Recipe
  • Chicken cut in 10 pieces
  • Egg whites 3
  • Salad dressing ½ pack
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Breadcrumbs ½ cup
Method:
  • Wash and dry the chicken, mix all seasoning in a plastic bag, add breadcrumbs.
  • Dip each piece in egg with white then coat with seasoning.
  • Grease the baking dish, set the chicken pieces, sprinkle remaining seasoning, spray oil and bake on 180 C for 20 minutes again.
  • Brush oil; serve with sauté potato, carrot and Salad.
